Order Dispatch

Orders placed before 1:00 PM (Monday to Friday) are normally dispatched on the same working day.

Orders placed after 1:00 PM, on weekends, or on public holidays will normally be dispatched on the next working day.

Whilst we make every effort to meet these dispatch targets, delays may occasionally occur during busy periods, stock checks, adverse weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Delivery Services

We dispatch orders using either DHL Fully Tracked, DHL Express, or Royal Mail Tracked 48, depending on the weight, size, destination, and nature of the goods.

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details will be sent by email. Where a mobile telephone number is provided, our delivery partners may also send SMS tracking updates.

DHL Services

• Fully tracked courier service.
• Deliveries are normally made Monday to Friday.
• Most parcels are delivered within 1–3 working days after dispatch, depending on destination and service selected.
• Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Example: An order placed on Thursday after 1:00 PM will normally be dispatched on Friday. As DHL does not generally deliver at weekends, delivery would typically occur on Monday or Tuesday.

Royal Mail Tracked 48

• Fully tracked postal service.
• Deliveries are normally made Monday to Saturday.
• Most parcels arrive within 2–3 working days after dispatch.
• Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delivery Estimates

Estimated delivery dates are provided for guidance only and do not form a guaranteed delivery commitment.

HD Chemicals LTD shall not be liable for delays caused by courier networks, adverse weather, customs procedures, transport disruptions, industrial action, peak seasonal demand, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Delivery Addresses

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery information provided at checkout is accurate and complete.

Delivery addresses may differ from billing addresses.

We strongly recommend providing a contact telephone number with every order so that we or our delivery partners can contact you if required.

Delivery Problems & Address Changes

If your parcel is delayed, damaged, lost, or arrives with visible damage, please contact us as soon as possible and we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.

If you need to amend your delivery address after placing an order, please contact us immediately. Once an order has been dispatched, address changes may not be possible and additional carrier charges may apply.

Refused Deliveries, Returned Parcels & Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout.

If a parcel is refused, not collected, returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or returned because delivery could not be completed, any carrier charges incurred by HD Chemicals LTD may be deducted from any refund where permitted by law.

This may include return-to-sender charges, redirection fees, storage charges, administrative costs, and other carrier-imposed charges.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched.

Refunds for returned parcels will only be processed once the goods have been received back and inspected.

If an order is cancelled after dispatch, the customer may be responsible for any direct costs incurred in recovering the goods. Customers exercising their right to cancel should accept delivery and return the goods in accordance with our Returns Policy.

Hazardous Goods

We take the safe transport of chemicals seriously and comply with all applicable UK transport regulations.

Where required, hazardous goods are packaged, labelled, and shipped in accordance with relevant legislation and carrier requirements.

Unlike some online sellers, we do not knowingly send regulated hazardous goods through inappropriate postal services. Products are packed and shipped using suitable transport methods designed to ensure legal compliance and safe delivery.
