Monoammonium phosphate (MAP) is a widely used source of phosphorus and nitrogen. It consists of two components common to the fertilizer industry and has the highest phosphorus content of any commonly used solid fertilizer.
Monoammonium Phosphate is a highly concentrated granular nitrogen-phosphorus fertilizer in which nitrogen is present in the form of ammonia. Produced by neutralizing phosphoric acid with ammonia. Monoammonium Phosphate is used on all types of soil, for application to land and beds, and for all crops and climates. Any type of compound fertilizer can be produced with monoammonium phosphate as input. The product is non-hygroscopic, non-dusting and non-caking, with a constant granulometric composition and soluble in water.
