Application :

Potassium Sorbate is an organic chemical, also known as the potassium salt of sorbic acid. The scope of its application and properties are almost the same as sorbic acid, however, the potassium form is more soluble in water. Potassium sorbate is an excellent preservative against fungi and yeasts. It is used in cosmetics and cigarettes, often in combination with sodium benzoate.
Potassium sorbate in aquariums:
Perfectly preserves liquid aquarium fertilizers and protects them against the development of mold or fungi. It is used together with L-ascorbic acid, which acidifies the fertilizer and prevents the growth of bacteria.
