Sulphamic Acid Solution
Sulphamic Acid Solution
10% - 15% - 20%
250 ml
Sulphamic acid, also called sulfamic acid, is a white crystalline solid that is stable and non-hygroscopic. Soluble in water and formamide, and slightly soluble in methanol, ether, acetone and concentrated sulfuric acid.
Sulphamic acid is an efficient descaling agent for cleaning various types of industrial and household appliances. Can be used for cleaning boilers, heat exchangers, condensers, coats and coils, descaling toilets, removing excess tile grout, efflorescence and other mineral deposits, etc. Helps eliminate hard water scale, protein deposits, beer and milk scale, light rust and corrosion of copper
Uses:
-
Sulphamic Acid Solution 10%
-
To remove excess grout from tiles or dissolve efflorescence from walls, floors, etc.:
Using a cloth or brush, apply the product to the surface and leave it for a few minutes. Use a brush if necessary and rinse with clean water.
Note: when using a coloured grout, use a weaker solution of approx. 2% (20 g per litre of water) to reduce the risk of leaching colour from the grout.
-
For descaling devices
Sulfamic acid safe to use on steel, iron, glass and wood equipment and can be carefully applied to copper, aluminium and galvanized surfaces. Clean in soak tank or in circulation. For surfaces, apply to the surface with a cloth or brush and leave for a few minutes. Use a brush if necessary and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
-
Sulphamic Acid Solution 15%
-
For boiler systems and cooling towers
A 10% to 15% solution treatment will be needed depending on the condition of the system. It may be necessary to add a corrosion inhibitor to protect mild steel, brass, copper and stainless steel from acid attack. Circulate the solution at room temperature or heat up to a maximum of 60 ° C. For more intensive cleaning, repeat for several times until the desired results are obtained.
-
Sulphamic Acid Solution 20%
-
For removing rust
20% sulfamic acid solution is perfect for removing rust - apply to the surface with a cloth or brush and leave to work. Use a brush if necessary and rinse with clean water.
Note: DO NOT USE AT BOILING POINT, as the product will hydrolyse and will not work. Do not use on galvanized materials, zinc or aluminium. Sulphamic acid will not remove silica or calcium phosphate. Rinse thoroughly after washing and check the system. Neutralize with 1 to 2% sodium carbonate solution (soda ash) with a target pH of 6 to 8 or in any pH range of the discharge.* Repeated applications may be necessary for heavily soiled systems. After cleaning, it will be necessary to rinse the system periodically to remove loose lime scale and debris
