Mono Ammonium Phosphate - MAP Fertiliser
Available in 500g 1000g 2000g
The fertilizer Monoammonium phosphate is most often used as a source of phosphorus (P) and ammoniacal nitrogen (N).
It has a higher phosphorus (P) content compared to most other fertilizers and is used when a high phosphorus (P) content is needed or for flowering plants such as fruit and vegetables.
MAP has been used for years as an effective fertilizer with good water solubility and fast dissolution. In powdered form, it is an important component of suspension fertilizers.
Its two molecular bases (ammonium and phosphate) are key minerals for healthy and lasting plant growth - this helps the plant transform many of the nutrients inside the plant into "building blocks" of growth.
Growers apply granular MAP in concentrated bands below the soil surface near growing roots or in surface bands.
It can also be used by spreading it over the field and mixing it with the surface soil by plowing.
