Multifunctional chlorine tablets will slowly erode over a time of 5-7 days. These will also incorporate a clarifier to make your water clean and an algicide to control algae in your swimming pool .

Before using this product, make sure that the pH levels are in the ideal range of 7.2 - 7.6 .

As the chlorine tablets release chlorine relatively slowly it may be necessary to shock dose or oxidise before use to establish some chlorine more rapidly. Ideal chlorine levels are between 1 - 3 mg/l (ppm) as tested by a test kit.
