Dextrose Monohydrate also known as Brewing Sugar is suitable for a variety of uses such as all home brewing requirements. It can be used in beers, lagers, wines, ciders and spirits, for both the primary fermentation and priming of bottles/barrels.
There are a few benefits of using Brewing Sugar instead of normal sugar such as easier fermenting, yield increase, cleaner flavour and much more.
By using Dextrose Monohydrate the fermentation will be much quicker and cleaner where as normal sugar would need to be "separated" by the yeast and that would produce impurities and bi-products which would affect the final taste of the drinks.
