Oxygen bleach - Natural bleach
Oxygen bleach is excellent for cleaning and removing organic stains (such as coffee, tea, wine, fruit juices, foods, sauces, grass and blood) from fabrics, plastics, Fiberglas, porcelain, ceramics, wood, carpets, asphalt, concrete, etc.
HOW AND WHERE TO USE OXYGEN BLEACH:
Dissolve in warm water, 1/4 cup for lightly soiled items, 1/2 cup for moderate soiling or to bleach yellowing whites, use 1 cup for heavy soiled/stained garments. Soak in the tub for 1 hour or overnight. Hot water accelerates the bleaching action. In cold water soak items for longer.
Dissolve powder in water prior to submerging clothing or nappies, do not apply powder or concentrate onto fabrics.
Dissolve 2-3 tablespoons and add to washing machine with SoapNut shells/powder.
Oxygen bleach is used to get rid of stains, deodorise and get whites white. It is very effective as a laundry presoak for heavily stained articles. For light soils add 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup for moderate soiling or to bleach yellowing whites, use 1 cup for heavy soiled/stained garments.
To whiten and deodorise your nappies add 1 cup of Oxygen Bleach into the soak cycle. Soak in hot water for at least 30 minutes, or overnight, and then wash as normal.
For whitening old linens and yellowed window shears, deodorising and cleaning tennis shoes, or to get rid of yellow armpit stains on shirts: soak in 1/2 cup of Oxygen Bleach in 4 litres of water for at least one hour, or overnight, then rinse.
If you have stained plastic ware, dishes and dish rags add 1/4 cup of Oxygen Bleach to the container to be cleaned or to the dishwater and soak for at least 15 minutes.
To keep your drains and disposals clear and smelling fresh add 1/4 cup of Oxygen Bleach in half a litre of hot water and allow solution to sit in drain overnight.
GENERAL HOUSEHOLD CLEANING:
1 cup of powder to 4 litres of water. It can be used in your kitchen, refrigerator, fireplace, camping gear, wooden deck, in your back yard etc. You can clean your carpet, carpet padding, couches, upholstery and camping gear with it. It is also very effective for water damage cleanup and mildew removal.
For septic systems add 1 cup of Oxygen Bleach to toilet and flush into the septic system twice a week.
Use 4 litres of water and 1 cup of Oxygen Bleach to clean your wooden deck. As an indication - for a deck the size of 20m2 we recommend to use 8 litres of water and 2 cups (~200g) of Oxygen Bleach.
Use lukewarm water in a bucket, add the powder and start cleaning the deck. After the hard part is done just hose down the whole area, let it dry and use proper oil to seal the wood.
