Natural Oxygen Bleach

Sodium Percarbonate also known as sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate or oxygen bleach. It comes in the form of granulated, coated, white powder. It is also a colourless, crystalline, hygroscopic, water-soluble solid with an active available oxygen content (13%), corresponding to 27.5% hydrogen peroxide.

It is used in some eco-friendly cleaning products and as a laboratory source of anhydrous hydrogen peroxide. This product contains carbonate anion and SHOULD NOT be confused with NA2CO4 SODIUM PEROXYCARBONATE OR NA2C2O6 PEROXYCARBONATE, which contain different anions. It does not contain phosphorus or nitrogen. When dissolved in water, it produces a mixture of hydrogen peroxide (which eventually decomposes into water and oxygen) and sodium carbonate ("soda ash").

It is a natural oxygen bleach and an ingredient in many home cleaning and laundry products. Applications in the textile, laboratory and water treatment industries.
